Cochabamba is the 3rd biggest city of Bolivia and is one of a kind, being a mix between a traditional city and a dynamic developing town. It is a good place to experience a real local immersion, the city being anything but touristic.
Although there isn’t much to do in town besides eating, drinking and partying; one can easily make new friends making the mingling process easier.
Cochabamba is also nicely located to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The town is indeed centrally located in Bolivia and you can easily encounter buses to move around the country for very reasonable prices.
Although appearing to be less cultural than Sucre for instance, CBB holds a lot of humanitarian projects linked with the arts, and one cannot miss travellers or locals performing for money at traffic lights all around the town.
