What an adventurous expedition! 762 curves from Chiang Mai, a 22km bicycle ride including a 295 steps to the big Buddha and a canyon small hike.
Pai is one of those lovely villages one would be looking for in the traditional northern Thailand landscape. Being a small village in which mostly hostel, restaurants-bars and shop mingle, Pai is more of a hippie hub to all the many outdoor activities nearby, and tribes expedition in the Mae Hon Song area. Yet one can find him/herself lingering around for weeks merely due to its vibe, active nightlife, peaceful lifestyle and numerous backpackers passing by.
Pai would be a great place to learn how to ride a scooter. Yet, continuing on my workout route, I decided to go for the bicycle, especially because is it easy to tour around the town. Of course, good food and massages are the rewards to such an active day! :)
